Ishtar.365 configuration settings (admin)

Settings screen

The configuration section is only accessible to users with administrator rights. Only administrators can navigate to this page via the settings button image-png-Feb-07-2024-10-44-32-0652-AM in the navigation menu. The configuration section consists of 4 tabs, namely:

Manage all tiles and tile pages

Picture33In the tile pages tab, the administrator has an overview of all pages and tiles that have been configured within your organization. On the left, all pages that have already been created are listed. The first time you will only see the homepage in the overview (recognizable by the following icon: Picture29).

When we select a page on the left, the details and tile groups configured for this page are displayed. Selecting a tile group displays a third section with the details of the selected tile group and also all tiles belonging to this group. Selecting a tile displays all the details of the selected tile, displayed in the last section.

You can start adding, editing and deleting multiple pages, groups and/or tiles at the same time. Each time you click the save button, the entire configuration is saved. So you do not need to save each change separately.

In some cases, if something is not correct somewhere, you will not be able to save. The following icon Picture30 indicates that one or more fields have not yet been filled in correctly.

How to configure tile pages and tiles is described below and is also covered in detail in the following video: Picture32 How to create tiles and tile pages.

Tile page:

Picture34To add a new page, click the Picture28 button at the overview of all pages. A new page will then be added at the bottom of the list. You can immediately enter the name of the page in the page name input field. To edit a page, select the desired page and the details of that page will be displayed.

Under the name of the page, you can choose to display it as a homepage. If you click the "Save as home page" button (Make homepage), the Picture29 icon next to the first page will jump to the page being created. The tiles you still wish to use from the previous home page, you will be able to add later under the desired group.

"Standard" (default) or intranet: Here you can determine how this page will be displayed. Only when choosing intranet, you need to link to your company's desired intranet page or website. On page 5, in Figure A & B, you can briefly compare how the display differs between the default and intranet.

If you wish to delete a tile page, select the desired tile page. At the info of the tile page, you can click the delete button. The tile page is now marked for deletion. You can undo this action at this time by clicking the same button again. The tile page is only completely deleted after saving the entire tile configuration. From then on, only the added users and groups have rights to this tile. Do not forget to give yourself rights if you also need to be able to see them on the user side. You can change these rights at any time if necessary. If limited rights apply and you wish to remove access to certain users and/or groups, select the necessary user(s) or group(s) and click the delete button. When you delete all groups and users, everyone in your organization will have access again.

A group can be connected to multiple sub-groups via the bottom anchor point. Click on the anchor point, hold down your left mouse button and drag the line that becomes visible to the desired group. You do not have to release the line exactly at the anchor point of the desired group. When the group can be linked you will notice that this group is automatically linked, when you "hover" over the group. When the group is paired with the desired group all you have to do is release your left mouse button.

If you wish to change the connection between 2 groups, select the desired anchor point and drag the line to another group (which is linkable) or leave unloaded anywhere on the page to remove the connection.

Importing an organizational chart:

Picture27If you have already configured an organization chart for "app X" and want the organization chart of "app Y" just the same, you do not need to create all the groups again. Via the "Import" button you can start importing the organization chart of another app.

If you started from an empty organizational chart for app Y, the option will be displayed above the import button. After selecting app X in the dropdown and clicking the "Import" button, the organization chart of app X will be displayed in app Y. If an organization chart was initially already configured for app Y, you can determine what you wish to do via the "Overwrite current groups" checkbox. If you do not check the checkbox and click "Import" both organizational charts will be merged. If you check the checkbox and then import, the current organization chart will be overwritten. You can then modify the organizational chart and save your changes.
